Increasing stress and burnout is becoming a significant problem in healthcare. This evening we have four contributors, Ann Williamson, Gill Smith and Maureen Tilford from BSCAH and Dr Paula Redmond who doesn’t use hypnosis but is an expert in her field. They will look at ways of identifying increasing stress levels and burnout in ourselves and our colleagues and some ways, hypnotic and otherwise, that we might be able to help manage this. Paula will look at the 5 burnout patterns, the 3 key pillars of burnout prevention, and (more briefly) 3 threads of burnout recovery.
Learning outcomes:
- To recognise the signs of increasing stress and burnout both in oneself and in colleagues
- To understand the place of hypnosis in the management of stress and burnout.
- To learn some hypnotic and non-hypnotic techniques useful in the management of stress and burnout.
FREE to BSCAH members – no need to register as a zoom link will be emailed to the BSCAH members mailing list
Cost for non-members £20
If you have any questions for our contributors regarding ‘Patterns of Burnout: how to identify and manage feelings of overwhelm and exhaustion in the workplace’, then please email them to Oli Hollis
