Aim: to further develop and enhance students’ skills, knowledge and safe application of hypnosis
Learning Outcomes: By the end of Module 3 we will have demonstrated how to:
1. apply simple metaphor in hypnosis work
2. use hypnotic techniques to work with functional disorders
3. use simple hypnotic procedures to help in the relief of pain, both acute and chronic
4. integrate hypnosis into practice – cases and treatment plans
This module supports you in taking your skills to a professional, integrated level—ready to apply hypnosis creatively and safely within your own clinical scope.
NB: Students should only apply clinical hypnosis in contexts where they are already qualified to work with the presenting issue, independent of hypnosis
