Aim: The aim of this webinar is to explore different metaphors that people use in a clinical context.
Learning outcomes: at the end of this webinar students should be able to

2 .Introduce allegory and story in a therapeutic way
3. Understand the importance of the use of voice and prosody in hypnosis
About this webinar:
There will be three main elements in this webinar:
1. A presentation on metaphor with an emphasis on some actual clinical case examples
2. A discussion on how we can utilise voice effectively in a therapeutic way during metaphor/story /therapeutic interventions ( including the challenges of avoiding the stereotypical “ therapist “ voice)
3. Break out rooms for 15 mins then each group to summarise their two or three favourite or most useful therapy metaphors used in hypnosis
