Learn how to use non-pharmacological interventions in the management of pain. Whether it be chronic, acute or procedural there are techniques you can use to help reduce suffering for your patients. Recent studies in the UK have shown a rise in opioid use and attributed deaths. There is clear evidence that opioid use cause widespread and potentially serious harm, when taken long term. Non-pharmacological interventions can enable person centred management of pain and helps the patient take back control.

Join us for an online day of engaging discussions, expert presentations, and small group practice with leading professionals in the field; Allan Cyna, Jean Rogerson & Louise Foulsham-McFall, Greta Ross and Colin Jones, chaired by Maureen Tilford. Cases will be used throughout to demonstrate ways of working with pain. Colin Jone’s presentation will focus on the metaphorical and linguistic aspects of hypnosis and chronic pain management. The session will also refer to some important recent research which can inform clinical practice.

Don’t miss out on this exceptional opportunity to expand your knowledge and gain insights into the remarkable potential of clinical hypnosis in pain management.
