ABOUT THE TRAINING:

This module is aimed at teaching health professionals language skills and conversational hypnotic suggestion that they can integrate into their existing clinical work.

This module is delivered using self directed online study with a short final assessment.

Aim of the course: To develop students’ understanding and use of informal positive hypnotic language

Learning Outcomes: By the end of this module the student should be able to:

• understand the nocebic effect of certain words
• know to use positive language to help their patients
• be able to use informal hypnotic techniques to reduce anxiety and distress
