Online Medical Hypnosis for Healthcare Professionals Spring 2023 Module 3

ABOUT THE TRAINING:

This course is aimed at teaching the basics of clinical hypnosis that health professionals can integrate into their existing clinical work.

Please note that Module 1 must be completed before progessing to Module 3

This course consists of self directed study plus face to zoom sessions online: Sat 25th & 26th March 2023

Timetable:

Morning session: 9.30am -12.30pm (Sat) 10.00am – 12.30pm (Sun)

Afternoon session: 1.30pm – 4.00pm

What is covered in the course?

Aim of the course: To develop students’ understanding and safe applications of hypnosis within their clinical field and expertise.

Module 3

Aim: to further develop and enhance students’ skills, knowledge and safe application of hypnosis   

Learning Outcomes: By the end of Module 3 the student should be able to:

1. apply metaphor in hypnosis work
2. use hypnosis to work with functional disorders
3. use simple hypnotic procedures to help in the relief of chronic pain
4. use hypnosis and imagery in the management of acute and procedural pain, including glove anaesthesia
5. integrate hypnosis into practice – Cases and treatment plans

NB: Students should only treat with hypnosis those conditions that they are qualified to treat without hypnosis

How will the course be delivered?

You will be given guided access to curated online resources (available for three months after completion of the course) which cover all aspects of the Core Curriculum.
There will be experiential learning and practice in breakout rooms in groups of three or four, supervised by an experienced hypnosis practitioner.
This course is made up of self directed study and organised face to zoom sessions and breakout rooms.
All tutors are Healthcare professionals with experience of integrating clincial hypnosis within their area of specialism.

Closing date for bookings:  Tuesday 21st March 2023

The modules may be booked separately but Module 1 must be completed first.

Specialist Modules and progression
Once you have completed Modules 1, 2 & 3 of Medical hypnosis you may decide to undertake further training in your speciality via Specialist modules.

Cancellation policy: Full refund if cancelled up to 4 weeks prior to event; 50% refund if cancelled 2-4 weeks before the event, no refund if cancelled after this time. 
There is a minimum number requirement for this training, and if this has not been reached by two weeks prior to the training, then BSCAH reserves the right to cancel with full refunds given.
