Cancellation policy: Full refund if cancelled up to 4 weeks prior to event; 50% refund if cancelled 2-4 weeks before the event, no refund if cancelled after this time.
There is a minimum number requirement for this training, and if this has not been reached by two weeks prior to the training, then BSCAH reserves the right to cancel with full refunds given.
Timetable:
Morning session: 9.30am-12.30pm (Sat)
10.00am – 12.30pm (Sun)
Afternoon session: 1.30pm – 4.00pm (Sat & Sun)
What is covered in the course?
Learning Outcomes:
1. To learn how to set up and use ideomotor signalling
2. To learn how to do a classic reframe for habit disorders and addictions
3. To explore ways of helping to resolve phobias such as desensitisation
4. To understand when and how hypnotic techniques can be used to safely resolve past trauma
5. To explore different ways of using imagery to resolve past trauma
6. To understand the importance of evaluation and audit in hypnotherapy
Module 2 builds and expands on the basic hypnosis skills learnt in Module 1.
You will learn some ways of using hypnotic techniques in habit disorders and addictions such as nail biting and smoking.
You will also learn how to use hypnosis and imagery to help resolve phobias as well as negative and traumatic memories generally and in PTSD
This two day training gives you the basic skills you need to integrate hypnotic techniques into your clinical work to help patients with addictions such as smoking, bad habits, phobias and past trauma, including PTSD.
How will the course be delivered?
You will be given guided access to curated online resources (available for three months) which cover all aspects of the Core Curriculum for Module 1.
There will be experiential learning and practice in breakout rooms in groups of three or four, supervised by an experienced hypnosis practitioner.
This course is made up of self directed study and organised face to zoom sessions and breakout rooms.
All tutors are Healthcare professionals with experience of integrating clincial hypnosis within their area of specialism.
Specialist Modules
Once you have completed Module 2 you may decide to undertake further training in your speciality via Specialist modules or to progress to Module 3 to gain a broader understanding of the applications of clinical hypnosis generally.
